These sepia ones for the Mitford bios look especially good. Yvette, I hope your librarians are lenient with avid readers like you, & don't charge you any fines. I'll be buying the Tomalin book too because I just love her books. I've only discovered heyer in the last few years & I've enjoyed what I've read so far. I never went through a Regency romance stage in my teenage years so I'm making up for it now. I want to know more about her research habits, apparently she was practically an authority on the Regency period, her research was so thorough & her novel set at Waterloo (An infamous army) was used by the Naval College to teach recruits about the battle.lynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04509400868331534237noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3020849054403226268.post-43683936241862015272011-07-04T09:37:05.298+10:002011-07-04T09:37:05.298+10:00As I'm adding three of your recommendations to...As I'm adding three of your recommendations to my TBR list - I've just realized I have 17 books overdue at the library. Panic mode. Can't do anything about it until Tuesday. How did this happen? Well, it's bound to when there's just so much to be read and admittedly I'm not the most organized person on earth. But I feel awful about it....!

The Dickens bio looks good. But I'll buy that, just to be on the safe side. Bios take longer for me to read then the library will allow. The Heyer bio is another. I've just recently become a Heyer fan and am loving her work. Where has she been all my life? :)

As usual I enjoy reading your posts even of authors and books I'm not familiar with.Yvettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08919246184376538331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3020849054403226268.post-63330496845460840272011-07-04T04:01:53.757+10:002011-07-04T04:01:53.757+10:00I can't resist those Vintage covers, their boo...I can't resist those Vintage covers, their books look amazingDesperate Readerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15708411387912078122noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3020849054403226268.post-53168693654658773232011-07-03T12:36:05.282+10:002011-07-03T12:36:05.282+10:00It's good to know that there are always new &a...It's good to know that there are always new & interesting books to come even if I have too much to read already. And I thought the Joan Aiken Hodge biography of Georgette Heyer was so interesting, even with the limitations. Thanks for letting me know about the new ones.
