The detailed battle descriptions are only in the last part &, I admit, if I'd been reading rather than listening, I probably would have skipped some of that. I have both Cotillion & Frederica in my Audible wishlist so I'll choose one of them next time I want to read a Heyer. Thanks for the recommendation.lynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04509400868331534237noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3020849054403226268.post-82849453830784055822015-08-22T05:57:19.914+10:002015-08-22T05:57:19.914+10:00I have this one lined up on audible, Lyn, but have...I have this one lined up on audible, Lyn, but haven't 'read' it as yet. I'm not at all clear that I would like Heyer in a more serious mode. (Though I have read A CIVIL CONTRACT which is about as serious as Heyer has gotten for me, so far. In fact, it was my first Heyer book.)

My favorite Heyer though, is COTILLION (which on audible is even more hilarious) which makes me laugh out loud every time. Second favorite audible Heyer is FREDERICKA - Lyn if you haven't heard this one, do so immediately. :)Yvettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08919246184376538331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3020849054403226268.post-65252435574564317062015-08-11T22:09:57.627+10:002015-08-11T22:09:57.627+10:00Thanks for the correction. Thanks for the correction.lynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04509400868331534237noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3020849054403226268.post-72246674916450643262015-08-11T21:45:13.960+10:002015-08-11T21:45:13.960+10:00If I remember properly, Lady Vidal is Barbara'...If I remember properly, Lady Vidal is Barbara's sister-in-law, not her sister. met314https://www.blogger.com/profile/12492780722297846126noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3020849054403226268.post-88578372983860994202015-08-11T08:09:57.903+10:002015-08-11T08:09:57.903+10:00The 200th anniversary of Waterloo has to be a good...The 200th anniversary of Waterloo has to be a good excuse, don't you think?
