This is something I've been working on a long time and corresponding with Martin about for six or seven years now.

Over three years ago I introduced my blog, The Passing Tramp, by talking about Jefferson Farjeon. I reviewed his Mystery in White the day after Christmas that year. I read my first J. Farjeon novel around 2000 and found him an appealing writer from the start.

http://thepassingtramp.blogspot.com/2011/12/late-christmas-number-mystery-in-white.html

Michael Dirda did a nice review of Martin's book, where he also provides an overview of some of my books on the subject.

http://www.barnesandnoble.com/review/the-golden-age-of-murder

Glad to see you mention Dean Street, which will have more GA authors coming this year.

There are others presses like Resurrected Press, Wildside, Coachwhip and Otto Penzler's Mysterious Press that are bringing back GA mysteries, by both British and American authors. The Passing Tramphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09830680639601570152noreply@blogger.com
