I know it works well on the Persephone website & I always enjoy reading what other readers have thought.lynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04509400868331534237noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3020849054403226268.post-10779396342540087622014-06-23T10:48:33.885+10:002014-06-23T10:48:33.885+10:00Great review, Lyn, and thanks for the nice words a...Great review, Lyn, and thanks for the nice words about my website. Every now and then I think of things to add, and with some many bloggers recently reviewing her books, I think I should add a page of links to reviews.Susan Dhttp://www.destevenson.orgnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3020849054403226268.post-52898411131387467762014-06-21T14:24:14.691+10:002014-06-21T14:24:14.691+10:00Sorry I can't reply individually Vicki & Y...Sorry I can't reply individually Vicki & Yvette, I'm having terriblle problems with browsers at the moment! Vicki, I agree about Comfort's name. The website is full of interesting information, I refer to it a lot. Yvette, I've just downloaded the Blue Sapphire from Audible & I'm looking forward to listening to it. It's read by Hilary Neville who was one of my favourite narrators. She's read several of the DES novels I've listened to.lynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04509400868331534237noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3020849054403226268.post-12292113343728276742014-06-21T07:54:54.202+10:002014-06-21T07:54:54.202+10:00Love this post, Lyn. Convinced me that the first one, THE HOUSE ON THE CLIFF, wasn't a fluke.

So glad you've joined Audible too. Now we can dish about listening to our favorites. :) I'm currently in the middle of listening to ALL the Sherlock Holmes stories narrated by Simon Vance who is superb.

I think I'm going to add the audio of MISS BUNCLE'S BOOK to my collection. So much fun to listen to books.Yvettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08919246184376538331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3020849054403226268.post-41325107458505542382014-06-20T21:25:31.604+10:002014-06-20T21:25:31.604+10:00Comfort Podbury really is the best name if one is ...Comfort Podbury really is the best name if one is going to become enormously fat! The recent reprints have been great & now that I've found Open Library, I've been able to read even more. Audible has been available in Australia for the last six months & I've already listened to Summerhills. Blue Sapphire & Young Mrs Savage have just been added to Audible & I'm looking forward to listening to both of them.lynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04509400868331534237noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3020849054403226268.post-44295762728845774062014-06-20T10:54:46.594+10:002014-06-20T10:54:46.594+10:00I am so happy to see others discovering the wonder...I am so happy to see others discovering the wonderful stories written by D. E. Stevenson. A friend introduced me to her in the 1980's, and I've read every one of her books at least twice! I was able to download some of them from the Audible website and listen on cd. Thanks for a delightful blog!
Paulaauntphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00734297586761806420noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3020849054403226268.post-19190894211607155772014-06-19T12:38:37.207+10:002014-06-19T12:38:37.207+10:00Thanks Rose. Bluefire Reader is available for Android tablets as well as iPads so you don't need to feel locked in to the iPad (unless you're already an Apple devotee). The androids are usually cheaper than iPads & seem to do all the same things so it's just personal taste in the end, I think. I started with the iPad so I'll stick with them but at work we're seeing lots more patrons coming in with their Samsung tablets to learn about ebooks etc.lynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04509400868331534237noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3020849054403226268.post-11323407402910232832014-06-19T08:57:08.460+10:002014-06-19T08:57:08.460+10:00Great review thanks Lyn, I've just signed on t...Great review thanks Lyn, I've just signed on to the waiting list for this at Open Library -- thanks for that link too. I've made great use of Open Library since you first mentioned it.
Interesting what you say re the iPad reading experience, I am currently researching and weighing up buying an iPad so that's another important thing on the list.Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14751315680374413649noreply@blogger.com
