It reminds me of early Katie Fforde although even her heroines were usually only in their 30s. When I'm in the mood for romantic comedy, I like to read about someone a little closer to my own age & Sue Hepworth's books are more than romantic comedy with Sally's struggles as a writer & family problems.lynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04509400868331534237noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3020849054403226268.post-10410827441864446742013-07-24T09:59:23.451+10:002013-07-24T09:59:23.451+10:00This is so interesting. When I saw the title, I immediately thought that it was a book on how to write, how to plot your adult book - not a book on a writer, struggling with the every day problems of an author trying to sell her next book. But I love the concept. I love the Jane Eyre feel of Sally and Kit's relationship that you mentioned, the fact that Sally is 60 years old and still rocking, pubbing her own book, energetic, in a romantic relationship. That's just... I'm still grinning.Christina Reads YAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14937783114868207494noreply@blogger.com
